NUX is a brand new seminar series at NYU bringing together researchers, students, and practitioners to discuss emerging work in human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience, and technology-based design. We meet bi-weekly during the summer across 370 Jay St. and 2 MetroTech to read and discuss recent papers, hear from guest speakers, and collaborate on research questions at the intersection of people and technology. If you'd like to get involved, please contact the hosts.
Founded at NYU, NUX (New User Experience) brings together people from computer science, psychology, law, design, and social science to look at HCI problems from multiple angles.
Our sessions combine close reading of current papers with open discussion. No background in any particular field is required — curiosity is enough.
